As part of employer encounters, Simone Gosling, our Nursery Manager at Bear’s House St Leonards, recently visited Bexhill College to give their Early Years students an insight into working with children aged 0-2.
She gave the students ideas of activities that can be carried out in this age range, the role of the Early Years Practitioner, and how to support the needs of babies. Simone also carried out practical demonstrations of making playdough from scratch, changing nappies and making bottles, which are useful skills as the students move into this age range for their work placement.
Well done Simone in helping to encourage and inform future practitioners in the early years sector.
