Here individual needs are met in a calm environment. The baby room provides a wonderful space for babies to be nurtured and cared for. Full of natural resources, creative and sensory activities to enjoy, this is a room full of fun.
There is a separate sleep room and changing area. The focus at this early age is on engagement and the highest standards of care, individual care routines are followed, with plenty of their key person’s time. Each baby is encouraged to explore their world with lots of sensory play and cuddles.
Your child’s routine will closely follow that of home. Older babies engage in singing, stories, Makaton and music provide a basis for every child to enjoy as they become more aware of the world around them.
Children in this group are exploring their world and forming friendships. Within a stimulating environment, children will focus on the prime areas of learning and development.
A range of activities make this room full of creativity, with fantastic activities, stories and familiar songs. Children will thrive, learning and achieving new skills whilst spending time with their keyperson.
Our Pre-School children are growing more independent and thinking more critically. Activities are planned within the seven areas of Learning, making sure that your child is progressing and developing well.
Playing and working together are important in Pre-School. Children learn the importance of caring for their environment, looking after each other and exploring the World around them.
Whilst children prepare for the transition to ‘Big School’ the emphasis is for Polar Bears is still to learn and have fun!
